B. Order processing and shipping process (International)
We will send you an order confirmation email as soon as your order is placed. Orders are taken through a credit card approval process. Orders are not released for shipment until this verification is complete. Note that this may change the shipment delivery time. Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email confirming this together with a tracking number.
Your Pax Mentis product (e.g., basket) will be placed inside a polypropylene sack and appropriately wrapped with packaging tape. Our packaging gets the job done, in that it delivers your products safely. It also meets the standards of international couriers services. Your product will arrive compressed. Do not worry, you can easily re-shape it with the instructions accompanying the product (can also be found on this website).
C. Average delivery times for orders shipped through POST.NL, DHL & GHANA POST:
1. Most destinations: Within 3 and 10 business days.
2. For orders shipped via Ghana Post, 2 – 3 weeks.
D. Customs, duties, tax, quarantine, and documentation
For Customs purposes, Pax Mentis crafts shipments will be accompanied by a “Statement of Origin”, “Certificate of Origin” or “EUR1 Certificate” as confirmation that the products are 100% made in Ghana or other African country. Pax Mentis crafts cannot and will not take responsibility for any charges relating to brokerage fees, duties, VAT or GST and handling charges incurred when your shipment enters your country. Pax Mentis crafts will not take responsibility for any costs incurred if your shipment is subjected to quarantine inspections that result in your shipment being subjected to any kind of chemical treatments (rare though). We will not also be liable, either financially or otherwise, if your shipment is not allowed into the country in which you reside, and your shipment returned to origin (e.g., Ghana, Netherlands) . In case you are unsure about your country’s customs / quarantine laws, we suggest you contact your local customs office to find out more information.
